The company was formed in 1982 by Mr Maurice Chaplin, my Father (pictured right) who at the time was employed by Frank Sytner (BMW, Huntingdon Street, Nottingham) as a driver.

My Father saw a niche in the market and he took the chance. He employed a few ex-bus drivers and his sons and CVS East Midlands Ltd was started.

In the early years he worked from home, picking up various customers until his untimely death in December 1987.

The start of 1988 brought a lot of changes, so with the support of my mother and brothers, I (Mr Michael Chaplin) took over the control of CVS East Midlands Ltd.

With the help of my wife, Mrs Wendy Chaplin and my children, CVS East Midlands has slowly grown.

It is now not only a logistics company but also a vehicle storage yard and repair centre.

With this in mind and being one of the longest trading logistics companies in Nottinghamshire and with the continuous growth, customer and staff loyalty, CVS East Midlands Ltd prides itself on its first class service to the motor industry.
